“A controlled acid trip awaits you” - SadSteve.com

Alternative indie-pop band Caxton first broke out onto the Coachella Valley music scene in 2008 and continues to deliver their edgy yet familiar sound over a decade later. The controlled intensity of their instrumentals combined with powerful melodic vocals scored them consecutive Best Band and Best Alternative Band wins at the Coachella Valley Music Awards in 2013 - 2017 and most recently Best Song for ‘Uproar’ in 2019.

As a result of countless votes, Goldenvoice invited Caxton to play alongside UK funk band Jungle and Grammy-award winning artist Kimbra at the Tachevah Block Party during the 2015 Coachella Music Festival. That summer, Caxton joined Coachella artists Chicano Batman, Bad Suns, and Phox by playing a live set in the mobile recording studio Jam In The Van to be viewed by thousands on YouTube since.

The acclaim from their 2011 full-length album 'Plotting A Murder' fueled Caxton to work diligently on the long awaited follow-up record ‘The Devil I Know’. The 2019 album spotlights Caxton's eclectic range of influences from Blondie to The Pixies while still unearthing a new version of their own sound.

THE DEVIL I KNOW is available now on vinyl and iTunes.
